On October 12th, Rob James will embark on a monumental endurance challenge, HYROX At Height, in the Lake District—summiting Skiddaw 8 times in under 24 hours while tackling all 8 HYROX stations in between.

This incredible feat is not just a test of physical strength and mental grit but also a powerful effort to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

We asked Rob WHY he is taking on this challenge:

"It’s important for me to attempt something that hasn’t been done before because I want to push my limits and show that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. My biggest fear is the weather—having already faced some pretty brutal conditions during training—but I’m determined to push myself as far as I can, no matter what.

I hope that through this challenge, I can inspire others to realise that when something feels impossible, it’s still worth trying. I want to prove that we all have more in the tank than we believe—it’s just about digging deeper and finding that extra 10%. The mind gives up before the body, and this challenge is about proving we can go further than we think."

Support Macmillan Cancer Support

This challenge is about raising awareness and support for Macmillan Cancer Support. Every step, every HYROX station, and every summit of Skiddaw is dedicated to helping those battling cancer.
