Hey Team,

As the year comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the past 12 months and share some thoughts from the heart. 2024 has been a rollercoaster—a year filled with highs, lows, and everything in between.

Just like myself, I’m sure there were moments when you felt unstoppable, pushing limits and reaching new milestones. But there were also times when things didn’t go as planned. Injuries, personal matters, work life, and unexpected challenges tested not only your body but also your mind.

Right now, I’m working through a back injury that has kept me sidelined for the past few months. It hasn’t been easy. Not being able to compete or train the way I love has been tough—but in this time of rest, I’ve learned something important: setbacks don’t define us. How we respond to them does.

I’ve been reminded of the power of patience. Sometimes, progress isn’t about how fast you can go or how heavy you can lift—it’s about showing up, day after day, with a commitment to becoming better than you were yesterday.

Through it all, one thing has kept me moving forward: your support, encouragement, and belief in me mean more than I can ever express. Whether it’s a message after a race, a cheer from the sidelines, or simply following my journey—you’ve been there, and I am so grateful.

Believe in yourself. Trust the process. And never forget—you’re capable of more than you think.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me. I can’t wait to see what 2025 brings—for all of us.

With gratitude,

Jake Dearden
