YouTube is a great place to learn for any CrossFit athlete.

Whether you want nutrition tips, workout advice or just to get an insight into the life of an elite CrossFitter, there are plenty of channels out there that create some great content.

Loads of athletes and fans of the sport have set up their own YouTube accounts over the last five years, so there’s a lot to choose from.

Here, Built for Athletes runs through five of the best channels to follow.

TeamRICHEY

Team Richey produce some fantastic content. Craig and Jas travel around Vlogging from some of the largest CrossFit events and interviewing some of the biggest names in the sport. They also have a lot of “How To” videos that give some really useful information to move your training forward, particularly if you’re fairly new to the sport.

HWPO Mat Fraser

The man needs no introduction. Mat Fraser is the GOAT, and his YouTube channel offers a lot of information about his lifestyle, how he trains and what he gets up to in his spare time. He posts fairly regularly - at least a few times a month - and Fraser has a big personality so his videos are usually pretty entertaining.

CrossFit HQ

The CrossFit HQ channel is one of the best to check out for movement tips as well as lectures on all things CrossFit and keeping healthy. They also put up some inspiring videos using Games footage and athlete interviews, which are good to watch for motivation or just for fun.

Tia-Clair Toomey & Shane Orr

Let’s face it, the big names are the ones we want to know the most about, and Tia-Clair Toomey is one of the most successful athletes around. Her YouTube channel, which she shares with her coach and husband Shane Orr, gives a lot of access into her life and her plans for the future.

The Buttery Bros

The Buttery Bros channel is run by former CrossFit HQ staff, Marston Sawyers and Heber Cannon. The pair are filmmakers who have made a lot of celebrated documentaries around the sport, such as Froning, Decade of Fitness, The Redeemed and The Dominant and The Fittest. On their channel, they record training days with famous athletes and talk about some of the biggest developments at the elite end of CrossFit.
